ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Dr. Teresa Coffman is Associate Professor of Music at Rhode Island College where she currently oversees the choral program, conducts the Concert Chorus, Chamber Singers, and Women's Chorus, and teaches applied voice lessons. Dr. Coffman has over 25 years of experience leading university and community choruses across the country, including in Arkansas, Michigan, Texas, and Rhode Island. This is Dr. Coffman's second season as Artistic Director of the PGMC.
“Because the PGMC is made up of great men who continuously try to improve their sound, because they love to meet and sing together, because they perform such a diverse variety of music, because they are socially and politically aware and active as a chorus and as individuals... because this is like nothing else I do...I am thrilled and honored to be their new conductor. I look forward to sharing my love of music with them and with you over the coming years.”
